Donut Maker

This donut-making machine was made in the 1930's. The batter is poured in by hand, the donuts are shaped by some contraption & dropped in the oil. After a ride on the conveyer belt they are dropped into pan. These donuts are about 2 inches in diameter & piping hot!

 

Oddly enough this was being done at a farmer's market...not exactly your daily serving of fruits & veggies, but they were quite tasty!
