Accompanied by man's true best friend on a trip back to Manchester.
It has been quite a couple of weeks really. Why is it that when just as you breath a sigh of relief, life decides you could do with another couple of trials?
My aunt died last week, quite unexpectedly. Now, I don't want to be accused of being hypocritical, I hadn't seen or spoken to her for a while with being in London, however, it still comes as a shock and as my mum's sister, its the effect i see it has on her and other family members. Rest in peace Jean, God Bless x
I also underwent more tests at the hospital last week, and it appears that my diagnosis last year which prompted my surgery, has returned. I now await an appointment in 2 weeks to find out whether i need further surgery.
Oh well.........these things make us stronger they say.
I have made the trip back to Manchester for the funeral and to stay for a while as i'm still off work. A good dose of mum's love, hugs and cooking is just what Em ordered.
You know, a dog provides a great excuse to disappear, blanket in hand just to lie in the middle of a deserted field to.......................just go blank ;-)
