Peony-flowered Dahlia (Dahlia pinnata)
Photographed the Peony-flowered Dahlia found in Judy's flower garden in Timmins in the Township of Mountjoy located in the City of Timmins in Northeastern Ontario Canada.
Peony-flowered dahlias are special varieties of dahlias that look just like peonies. They feature two to three rows of broad outer petals surrounding a fluffy, open center. Unlike true peonies, which are cold-hardy bushes, peony dahlias are grown from tubers and bloom from mid-summer until the first fall frost
