Common Loon (Gavia immer)(Juvenile)

Photographed the juvenile Common Loon feeding just off the south point of Prout's Island on Sesekinika Lake in Northern Ontario Canada.

 

This diver is well known in Canada, appearing on the one dollar coin and the previous series of $20 bill, and is the provincial bird of Ontario. Also, it is the state bird of Minnesota.
