From Jenna Fuentes

Harvin was in my spop discussion group Gray Year 2005. Although we weren't

that that close and we all were so busy and didn't get to hang out that

often, of the few moments (discussion sleep over, went to vegas together,

meeting once a week on campus at the student center, and spop trainings

each week) we had together, I do cherish it and appreciate him for the

person he is and the love he expressed to those around him =)

 

I sang with him in "Spopapella" Save Tonight song and he had a solo (I have

to find the video!).

 

He would always have whacky, ridiculous, silly, random, "out there", random

things to say..he can rhyme..and he has done BIG things in the comedy

world! He was positive, energetic, outgoing, spontaneous, and DOWN for

anything. I do remember him being a campus representative, CP-he worked in

UCI housing right? and was Peter the Anteater =D He had such spirit for UCI

and we look up to him for that. He was easy to talk to, open, and friendly

=) He was able to make others feel comfortable and he was an AWESOME

staffer (I'm sure the incoming freshman LOVED him and he helped them feel

comfortable and excited coming to UC Irvine). Harvin is and will always be

LOVED. I'm sure he knows that right now.

 

Spring 2007 I remember going to Ivar in Hollywood with Harvin and he

brought his midget friend! hahaahhaha WHO HAS A MIDGET FRIEND!??! TELL

ME!!!! haha no one..only Harvin and only COMEDIANS! by far, that night was

one of the most craziest, memorable and FUN nights til this day. I remember

random moments (I know this sounds strange) but there was a co-ed bathroom

at this club! Can you believe that!? so weird and random..I remember goin

in and seeing.."oh hey that's harvin peeing in the urinal..doo doo doo"

nonchalantly as if it's an every day thing as I went to the restroom. HIs

midget friend was HILARIOUS talking about the numerous pools he had as he

tried hitting on our friend.

 

I feel bad for not being able to keep in touch with him..I never knew if he

was in the Bay..or out of state doing a gig.

 

I recently talked with him on AIM within the past 4 months? He IMed me

while I was at work and I was so thankful and happy for that =) he was

asking me how I was doing and I wanted to hear everything about his

adventures..and how he had made it this far int he comedy world..he

mentioned he was going to be in a music video? or a movie? and we were

catchin up on the past couple years...I feel so bad, I wish I could have

gotten the chance to see him again.. =( ;( HOWEVER, I am thankful for that

aim convo the past few months...I am thankful for the small moments getting

to know a person..although people lose touch, in a small moment in the

presence of another, one can still have a positive impact on others and

Harvin did that..I'm glad to have known him..

 

I am so sorry for your loss. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. It's

no one's fault..Harvin is at peace now. We will remember him and miss

him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His memories, jokes, and comedy will live on..my

deepest condolences...
