A bad idea?
As a confident and experienced cyclist who comfortably rides in city traffic nearly every day, there's not much that scares me out there. Riding in the bike lane across the Mass. Ave. bridge between Boston and Cambridge is something that always gets all my sensors twitching. So I asked myself, why is there a barrier between the two lanes for cars, the bike lane and the sidewalk when the barrier could easily be between the bike lane and the cars?
