Man in the hole!

An underground water main runs parallel to the trail. Occasionally there are places that allow access to some kind of pipe lid. Here, a workman is applying a fresh coat of paint to the lid after cleaning it up. I'm sure it will look nice when he is done though it will be hidden once he replaces the manhole cover and locks it in place.
