Difficult work at the stern
Getting the hull planks to make the tight turns necessary for the stern required use of a plank bending tool. I settled on the use of a heating tool to bend the planks at the appropriate point on a french curve block. I experimented with first soaking the planks in water before applying heat but stopped. While using water made the plank easier to bend, it also caused the plank to swell up, which made those planks no longer a proper fits with the others.
