Regenbogen-rainbow

Ich liebe Regenbögen und ihre Farben. Sie sind eigentlich nicht als reales Band am Himmel vorhanden, sondern nur ein atmosphärisch-optisches Phänomen. Wir sehen die Lichtbrechung durch Regentropfen, aber er hat auf der ganzen Welt eine starke mythologische Bedeutung.

In diesen Tagen ist er das Symbol für Hoffnung in der Coronazeit. Einen schönen Ostersamstag wünsche ich euch!

 

I love rainbows and their colors. They are actually not in the sky as a real band, but only an atmospheric-optical phenomenon. We see the refraction of light from raindrops, but it has a strong mythological meaning all over the world.

"Tänzerin im Wind" der Künstlerin Gisela Meyer-Hahn auf dem See in Barmstedt ist eine sechs Meter lange und drei Meter hohe Konstruktion. Trifft der Wind auf die bunten Flügelflächen, beginnen diese sich zu drehen. "Die Tänzerin im Wind erinnert an unsere eigene Lebensspirale, an die Form unserer DNS", sagt Meyer-Hahn und fügt hinzu: "Das Auge kann mit der Bewegung mitgehen, die sich von dem Objekt loslöst und uns Mobilität und Kraft gibt."

 

"Dancer in the wind" by the artist Gisela Meyer-Hahn on the lake in Barmstedt is a construction, six meter long and three meter high. When the wind hits the colorful wing surfaces, they begin to turn. "The dancer in the wind reminds us of our own spiral of life, of the shape of our DNA," says Meyer-Hahn, adding: "The eye can follow the movement that detaches itself from the object and gives us mobility and strength."
