POSTING JUVENILE BIRDS FROM HOME.

JUVENILE is similar to a adult but the colours are subdued, utters a harsh tche-tche-tche alarm call, and the song is a stiking variation on a teecha-teecha-teecha theme. The great tit is widespread, and resident all year round. One of our nest boxes, was successfully used by them, with the result above. On occasions, they can become remarkably bold when, for example, attracted into the garden with food, they tend to be a dominant force, top of the pecking order among small birds, the only exception to this is a greenfinch.
