A GROUND-DWELLING bird, a familiar species across much of Britain and Ireland, partly because of its predilection for gardens and suburban locations. A beautiful singer, but can also utter a harsh and repeated tchak alarm call,at dusk or if a prowling cat is discovered. Hope you like this image, was not sure if to post it or not...............
