AFRICAN JACANA / GAMBIA.
Stalks, creeps and runs on floating surface vegetation, was a bit lucky to capture this beauty (30 cm) as they are quite hard to approach, and being off the plants and wading gave me a fews seconds extra to fire a few shots. Takes short flights, squabbles , fights and often aggressive, a bit like our U.Ks coots in behaviour, but better looking.
