When my very VERY first girlfriend broke up with me, I was at a party short after. I got pretty drunk, depressed and emotional, and started walking home feeling very sorry for my self. - I remember still, coming to some road work feeling VERY aggressive, picking up the sign (on the wall) attached to a pole, with the intend of destruction. Then I remember nothing more.
But I DO remember waking up with the sign lying in the middle of the room thinking.. ”,,,What!?”
Some days later my neighbor told me, he found me sprawling halfway inside my door clutching the sign tightly, though majorly passed out. - ”I put you to bed” he said, and him being a serious alcoholic him self, made the next sentence quite funny. He looked at me, with serious worry radiating from his eyes saying, ”Are you all right!?” - But you must understand that I very rarely even at present date drink and to see me even getting near the ”passing out” stage, is something to be remembered.
I hung the sign pointing at the door, so as always be able to say while pointing. - ”Just follow the sign.”
