Odessa opera house

Copy of the Vienna Opera House. This portrait is very dear to me, as Konstantin Paustofski quotes this Odessa Highlight often in his Six Part Diary Cycle. It has been restored beyond the call of duty: the white is not ivory but it is the white that chips the glazing of your teeth. It is the white that the management of Walt Disney World selects copying such a building in Florida.

This type of weather (dry air, no clouds, bright sunlight, a lot of UV radiation in the air), allowed my Polarisation filter to out blue the sky above resulting into an over the top brilliant postcard wich is too perfect to be taken for granted.
