Devil's Slide
This is a painting of Devil's Slide (just north of Yellowstone National Park's north entrance in Gardiner, Montana) by Thomas Moran, done in the field on the 1871 Hayden expedition. The picture on the far left is the painting, the middle picture shows the direction of the geologic slide as viewed from above, and the picture on the right shows what I see as an image of a devil's face in profile in the rocks.
