Castel di Sangro
In Castel di Sangro there were two stations, with a distance of 150 meters from each other: one of the Italian State Railways (FS) on the Sulmona - Castel di Sangro - Carpinone - Isernia line, the other on the Sangritana Railway that connected Castel di Sangro to Lanciano. FS line, service suspended since December 10, 2011. Sangritana to Castel di Sangro closed 2003.
The railcars in the foreground are Sangritana. You should be able to spot an FS diesel railcar headed for Sulmona!
