Cool looking fungus
What a great day! - we got an early start from Port Angeles and made several stops on the way to Forks. First stop was Lake Crescent - we just ambled down to the lake and caught some rays on a beautiful sunny morning. After that we hit Sol Duc Falls - one of my favorite trips - it is a nice short trail through a rain forest to some beautiful falls. The water level was down but it was still impressive. After these falls we stops at a salmon vista - wow - that was cool. Plenty of salmon in a pool beneath the falls but we didn't see any actually jump. After this section of the park we drove to Forks, dropped our stuff off and went to Rialto Beach with a nice walk to Hole in the Wall - a big sea rock with a hole in it - and a great sunset too!
