Britany showed up at a group shoot at Elmendorf AFB, Anchorage, Alaska in January 2011 expecting to photograph the models. Since she showed up way early none of the models were ready yet so I talked her into being on the other side of the camera - she said it was the first time she had ever modeled and she was nervous and also felt terrible, but since she likes kindly old men she humored me for a bit. I think Britany is quite photogenic, sick or not - and she's promised to shoot with me again. Her personality is so cool and she was so much fun to shoot with - but she did shortly after this - just when the models started to outnumber the shooters!
Strobist stuff - I used a basic set-up with a Canon 580 EX II on 1/2 power model left about 45 degrees and a Vivitar 285HV about 45 degrees model right on 1/4 power. I like the shots but just wish we had more time to shoot together.
