How does he get to handle the merchandise?
While attending the Texas Renaissance Fair near Plantersville, Texas on the first weekend of November 2010 I stumbled upon the Chain Mail Fashion Show. Apparently this is an event that takes place shortly after each day's Grand Parade. The venue is unique - it is on the second story balcony over the Chain Mail shop - there isn't really a lot of room to work - and from a photographer's point of view it is tricky since there are several stands of chains to contend with - but other than that it was a fun show. Some of the models were obviously nervous about appearing in public - they stayed on stage about 4 seconds, but others were very good at it. Overall it was a very fun event to watch, but not for the kiddies!
