Sights at Pura Tanah Lot, Bali
After visiting Pura Ulun Danu Bratan in the early morning we turned the itinerary over to our driver. He was born and raised in this area. Being first timers to Bali we asked him to show us some of the best sites/sights that were not too crowded.
After sweating in the rice fields, our driver showed us a photo of Pura Tanah Lot and asked if we wanted to see it. It was a fairly long haul but it was a nice day to travel. Sounded good to us and we were off. Tanah Lot is reputed to be one of the most photographed temples on the island. Judging by the crowd size we knew it was one of the most visited. Despite the crowds we enjoyed this stop and my wife liked the shopping after checking out the sights.
