Street art in Kaka'aka, Honolulu, Oahu
My wife and I are big fans of street art - we love the creativity and colors of the art work. While on the way to Pearl Harbor we passed some murals so we decided to check them out on the way back. We hadn't heard of the Kaka'aka area before but we had a blast walking around - except it was pretty hot and the lighting was so bright. I would definitely go back here - and it would be a great place for a photo shoot. One thing that amazed me about this area was the size of many of the pieces - huge - covering the entire side of building. Unfortunately this also meant that cars were parked in front of many of them. Oh well, can't have everything!
