25109, Shrewsbury, 20th September 1986

BR Sulzer Type 2 No. 25109 leaves Coleham CE sidings with a Civil Engineer's train for Colwich Junction, the scene of a serious collision the previous evening, in which the 17:00 Euston - Manchester Piccadilly headed by 86429 crossed in front of the 17;20 Liverpool Lime Street - Euston headed by 86211. Both locomotives were subsequently scrapped.
