The jump.
I think this may be my favorite photograph that I had taken while I was in New York. If you look back at the two other photographs of this boy, he was fascinated by a turtle that was around him. It swam away. And what other way to entertain oneself than jump from rock to rock. He and his brother were having a contest on who could jump the farthest. As I was leaving the turtle pond I was anticipating a splash from one of the boys falling into the water. I heard no such splash (which I think is astonishing, and a little thing about me is that I am a MAJOR klutz, I sprained my ankle over a year ago by walking, by walking. Pretty sure that take talent to do something like that.)
