Now being procured for the British Army following a chequered history in which the UK was in a collaborative project (FRES) then left and pursued its own route and finally returned to take advantage of the mature system already in service with others, Boxer is now in service with a total order of over 600 vehicles intended for a variety of specialist roles in addition to the basic infantry mobility version. Seen during the British Army demonstration at the conclusion of Kuwait Arena displays during Tankfest 2026 at The Tank Museum, Bovington Camp, Dorset.
