At weekends the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight sometimes make s fuel or overnight stops away from RAF bases and I was lucky to notice the trio of Hurricane IIc, Spitfire Vb and Chipmunk arriving at Blackbushe Airport, Hampshire - just down the road from Farnborough. Recently rejoining BBMF after major refurbishment AB910 now flies in the markings it wore on D-Day with 402 Squadron RCAF, just one of the major WWII operations in which t took part during a remarkable operational history.
