I took position by one of the big unavoidable watersplashes and waited for not only brave and surefooted competitors but fallers - I was not to be disappointed though some made it through safely. Here my brother Dave negotiates it without mishap - I was a little disappointed though he'd clearly been well in the mud earlier.
