Project Infinity

The PA-99 was presented in a proposal by Proryv Avto for the Common Main Battle Tank program in the United Carpathians. Using an unconventional tank design, the tank located the entire crew and ammunition storage within a pod-shaped turret while the hull housed the nuclear powerplant and the transmission with the electric engines.

 

The tank was armed with a DunnMetal T68 105mm Smooth-Bore Gun with a hydraulic ramming device mounted in the turret, with ammunition stored in the rear turret behind a steel bulkhead separating from the crew. Two co-axial 23mm chainguns and eight missiles in an erectable launcher on top of the turret were also included. Closed circuit television was implemented to further improve its combat capabilities, so every crewmember can see the surroundings of the tank.
