Horseshoe Bend
Horseshoe Bend is a river meander on the Colorado River a few miles downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam. It is easily accessible off U.S. Route 89 about four miles southwest of Page, Arizona. It is viewed from a steep cliff above with no rails. The overlook is 4,200 feet above sea level, and the Colorado River is at 3,200 feet above sea level, making it a 1,000-foot drop.
