homemade blueberry sauce

I'd just like to say that I don't usually like blueberries. I made this sauce specifically for slathering all over homemade blintzes for Easter brunch. I might now be sold on blueberries after all. This is so good! But how could it not be? Blueberries simmered in orange juice, with a vanilla pod, sugar, lemon juice and zest. Amazing.
