Facade: Another View, Annie Lathrup School--Lathrup Village MI
This view of the Lathrup School emphasizes the windows, gable and chimney. The school, built in 1927, was named after the mother of Lathrup's developer, Louise Lathrup. Despite her often-reactionary views, she stands as a pioneer of development in suburban Detroit, and in the city as well.
