Odd traffic signals

This is a very odd traffic signal installation for Quebec, as it is very similar to that of New York or Michigan with suspended lights hung diagonally across an intersection, only the casings are black instead of NYS dark green or Michigan yellow. Outside of major urban centres, the Quebec preference is for a unique design of horizontal signals.
