==Biography and career==

Fabio Martella was born on Feb. 18, 1972, in [[Italia , it]]. He was six, when he started play Karate and was also selected to the Italian National Under-14 team with the sensei Angelo Foschini and Augusto Basile. At 16 years old, he started practising [[karate Kyokushin ]] at Paris Karate school under The Oyama sempai.

At the age of eighteen, he won the International Kyokushin Cup'. In November 1988 he was selected to represent the Yōshūkai Karate School with the sensei Ali shaker during the Championships.

 

Fabio recorded his first international success in 1989 at the Okinawa Kyokushinkai Karate Championships. Two years later, he took first place at the European Cup in [[Tokyo]]. In 1990, Fabio took part in the Karate World Championships. Fabio was able to battle his way through and reached the final sixteen. He made his second World Championships in 1990-1. In the semi-finals, he defeated his opponent [[Hiroshi Saw]] and for the second time in the history a non-Japanese fighter, was taking part in the finals. Fabio was declared the winner. Fabio was one of 24 fighters from around the world invited to the Sabaki Challenge, three of students: Fabio Martella, Rob Wiley and Chris Brammer, kept fighting in Japan with success and they became popular. The fans were impressed by Fabio's technical diversity, spectacular aesthetics, tactics and strength. In Japan he was given the name "殺すフェラしか", He was rewarded an honorary fighter title by Ali Shakeri. 100 MAN KUMITE

The challenge was devised by Masutatsu Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin and the first person to complete the test. He completed the 100-man kumite three times over three consecutive days. The second man to complete the test was Steve Arneil in 1965, the third man to complete the test was Fabio Martella in september 1994.1 In July 2004, Naomi Ali (née Woods) became the first woman to complete the 100-man kumite.

Karate Budokan

Karate Budokan International's current Shihan is Wayne Macdonald of the Noosa headquarters.

Macdonald started karate with Sensei Daniel Spice (from the NSW branch through HMAKarate ) in 1979. MacDonald is currently a Sixth-Dan Black Belt as well as the World Chief Instructor of KBI. Wayne’s training has been under the guidance of the KBI Grand Master Mr. Richard Chew and Sensei Fabio Martella.

 

The new Karate

Anichi Miyagi is the only student that is taught the complete system of Goju ryu. He follows the tradition and teaches the complete system of Goju ryu to only one student, Morio Higaonna Sensei.

Fabio Martella was the Senior Advisor at the Okinawan Karate Do. He has been training for over 30 years and he has been instructing for the last 20 years. His own personal training is of great importance. To enhance his studies, he travels to Okinawa, Japan , and China. He feels Combact is an endless path of learning and growing.

 

Karate Shitoryu

Hinsei Shito-Ryu Karate-Do: Founded in 1995 by John Gaddy, a student of Yoshisada Yonezuka and Masayuki Kukan Hisataka. Instructors Shigeru Kimura, Yonezuka, and Tomo Kidachi were early pioneers of Tani-Ha Shito-Ryu Karate-Do in the United States, while the Italian Sensei Fabio Martella was early pioneers in France. Masaaky Satake has participated in eight Mixed Martial Arts matches in International tournament with the italian Fabio Martella, he participated in PRIDE and also two MMA matches in Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye

After the combat sports Fabio ends the university "Isef" in Italy, and specializes in physiotherapy and naturopathy; Fabio teaches sports throughout Europe, Fabio becomes a famous personal trainer, he becomes the coach of the most famous football Teams and he was the instructor of the best players (Fabian Estoyanof, Alvaro Recoba Chino, Lampros Chotos, Takiji Kase) He has trained many olympic athletes (Fabrizio Donato, Felix Tito Trinitad, Chiara Star Bux, Ernesto Hoos, A. Benvenuti, Erika Prezerakou, Ayala Paol, ecc.), characters of the show (Ornella Muti, Paoul Morisette) dancers, etc.
