Volkswagen's Sharan multipurpose vehicle was all new for 2010, having been designed on an entirely new platform that it shared with Volkswagen's seventh-generation Passat (which is not the Passat, of course, that replaced the sixth-generation model in North America. The new Sharan - not for the New World, just as the previous Sharan developed with the Ford Galaxy had not been - was available with one of two TSI inline fours or one of two diesel fours. This Sharan is in fact a 2010 model.
