Ford came full circle when it brought the Thunderbird back after a five-year hiatus as the two-seater is used to be back in the fifties. This is a 2002 convertible model, from the first year of what was the eleventh generation. A coupe was also available
Unfortunately, Ford got lazy and started relying on light-truck sales (a reliance still very much in progress, and so the retro T-Bird was not marketed properly.
It thus old poorly despite the popularity of retro vehicles at the time. it was discontinued after 2005 never to be brought back again.
The Mark 11 Thunderbird had a 3.9-liter V-8.
