Classic Impala Convertible
I caught this beautiful 1962 Chevrolet Impala convertible outside a convenience store. I believe it was the SS (Super Sport) version.
The '62 Impala was the first one to have a 409-cubiic-inch V8, producing 340 horepowwer, as standard equipment, although a smaller V8 displacing 327 cubic inches could be ordered. Today both of these engines would be considered behemoths.
You know the Beach Boys song "409?" It was about Chevrolets with the former engine. :-)
