I had to go somewhere unexpectedly and, had I not done so, I wouldn't have seen this Volkswagen-based dune buggy pickup, with the cool fiberglass roof.
Such conversions from Beetle platforms were popular beck in the 1960s and 1970s, especially in California.
Of course this is a flip phone photo. The place where I was was somewhere I had to go at the last minute, and I wouldn't have taken my regular camera anyway.
