I was the team member who oversaw the unlikely purchase of these fine pom-poms from a Richfield dollar store by one of my clients. It was only a buck, so I doubt my common sense will come into question with this one. What we were at the dollar store looking for in the first place was a replacement for this plastic, foot-shaped, clear, purple soap dish thing. At least I think it was a soap dish. It also apparently contained significant calmative relaxatory powers for its owner. The item was known around my workplace as 'the purple toes', and they have gone missing. If you have seen an item of this type, let me know. We need a new one soon.
