47338 leads a less experienced quartet towards sustenance after a busy (?) Sunday on the pw.
New from Brush as D1819 in 1963 and allocated to Toton, it met its end at Rotherham 44 years later. It was sectorised as a Distribution loco and for a while gloried in the name "Warrington Yard".
The quintet is heading past Harborne Junction, parallel to Telford's New Main Line. The brick structures in the foreground are the supports of the bridge which carried the Harborne branch over Mr Telford's canal.
