Because we have a tiny, VERY antiquated kitchen, when we were forced to buy a new dishwasher (the old one died after 390 years- Maytag!) we had to replace it with another portable one. NO room to build it in! We decided at that point to change the 1950's old metal doorknobs that scratched the dishwasher all to heck- with wooden ones. These are they- being varnished by DH! ( I think he missed a bit!! Do you see it???)
