Edipo - Oedipus

Edipo e la Sfinge - Oedipus (named) seated on block is listening the riddle of the Theban Sphinx seated on a Ionic column.

Name inscription to the upper right of Oedipus' head, ending over the sphinx's head: Οιδιποδες, Oedipus.

To left of the sphinx' mouth: [κ]αι τρι[], Probably [κ]αι τρι[α], where τρι[α] could refer to the last part of the riddle, i.e. to the animal who walks on three legs.
