Entry #069 - The Hunger Games Book

My costume is a replica of the book cover of "The Hunger Games." It's a big black box with arm and head holes cut out. What I first did was get a box and spray paint it black. I then cut out arm holes and a head hole. Now it was time for decorating. I printed out pictures from the internet and glued them onto the box (The Hunger Games logo, mockingjay symbol, and Suzanne Collins.) After that, I outlined the logos in silver and red. Then, I added the silver design from the cover that surounds the mockingjay pin and goes through The Hunger Games logo. Next, I cut out a piece of paper and wrote "Soon to be a major motion picture" and glued it to the front of the box. The front was completed, now I had to do the back. I printed out a summary and glued it to the back. I also added a "In the production of a major motion picture" section and added pictures from the movie.
