sampler

these are some sample shots of the birds i frequently see at my favorite marsh......(except, of course, the oystercatcher).....i don't think the quality of these shots is good enough to upload them individually.... so, until i upgrade my camera equipment and learn how to use it properly, i'm putting them up in this form just to get them out there....in the meantime, i'll stick to things that i can get closer to (like invertebrates and plants)....the birds include merlin, eagle, heron (great blue and green), turkey vulture, kingfisher, purple martin, nuthatches, and sparrows(mostly savannah)....just for the record, one of my favorite shots is the merlin entering into a power dive on his way to snag a dragonfly....this collage was created in picasa
