Kitchen: Detail of countertop

I'm probably the only person in California to be tired of granite countertops!

And hey--as you can tell, I don't have a model home.

So--why the heck not??

 

Our counter and backsplashes are a mosaic of stone and stained glass pieces and small irridescent tiles. Our friend Monica Hartman laid it for us & did a great job!!
