I thought I’d try a toyboy

And uploaded an ad-vert

To ‘Silver Surfer Singles’

I got a chap named Burt

 

He wasn’t really suitable

(I better not say why

But he weren’t exactly truthful

And his morals were awry)

 

And then a chap called Arthur

He wasn’t up to scratch

At 99 he was too old

A really bad mismatch

 

A few more fellas followed

On one I had a crush

But I found he has a Missus

And another made me blush

 

I nearly called the whole thing off

I’m sorry, beg your pardon

But I wasn’t looking for romance

Just some help in the garden

 

And then my good friend Annie

She went and said to me

What’d you want a man for?

I told her…..”Ah I see!”

 

So Annie sent round George and John

And they turned out first class

Cos George he does the manual stuff

And John? He cuts the grass.
