Hunting over a Somerset Meadow

Barn Owl.

 

Really confusing behaviour from this Barn Owl tonight. Instead of returning to the nest box to feed the Owlets, this Owl was flying off in the other direction to where it has been roosting. So I'm not sure if this a different owl or whether the Owl is now building up a cache.
