The Monastery
The garden of the city of Dubrovnik is the island of Lokrum. Is situated only a couple of minutes from the harbour in the middle of the Adriatic sea. The name if quite prophetic because it comes from the exotic trees the monk cultivates.
Lokrum history is long and full of stories. But the origin of everything is the Monastery. Is one of the few buildings that the island have. In Lokrum no one lives because the idea is to create a big nature paradise. That's why even the ruins of the Monastery are full of trees and is blended with the nature.
