Axpona - 2022
NAD/Dali (thought the sign outside the door said PSB - there was not a PSB speaker in sight). With challenging enough rooms, I am unclear why some exhibitors stack multiple speakers next to each other. We first listened to Sara K's version of Brickhouse using the smaller Dalis, and I thought she had nice body to her vocals, but kick drum was a little dry. Techno sound great, as it almost always does. Switch to the larger Dalis, and I thought the mid bass was too prominent in this room.
Bottom Component: NAD M50.2 Digital Music Player ($4.4k)
