A Peru is a building that plays a role as a psychological support for Chinese people. It is usually located at the entrance to Chinatown.
The Peru in Incheon was contributed by Weihai City in the Shandong Province of China as part of a committed sisterhood relationship with the Jung-gu district.
The Peru in Incheon was built by the Chinese government at a cost of about 200,000 dollars. It was the first time that the Chinese government contributed a Peru to another country.
