"Where the devil never sleeps"

Me and my friend went to visit Israel and the Palestinian territories in recent time. Here is a collection of snapshots I took with my beloved GF670. We faced no problems at all and travelling by bus and local taxi was easy and hassle free. Photographing in the Palestinian territories was not as simple as in Israel but in most cases people did not mind being photographed. Jerusalem was probably the best place for taking photos of religious people. Sometimes I was asked a few things about my camera and some folks seemed to be interested in talking about traditional black and white photography. We were astonished by diversity of people living together. Jerusalem itself was an unforgettable experience, so was Bethlehem and its surrounding villages. Then we headed south to the Dead Sea and the Negev desert. I used HP5+ for low light situations and FP4+ for bright sunny days. I have been using the films exclusively for two years. Both films are great for wet printing and scanning. I was a bit worried about my roll films as our bags had been x-rayed at least 10 times but in the end all the developed films seemed to be all right. I hope so, I have not scanned them all yet but the negatives look fine to my eye. Oh Hell, I´m really looking forward to developing the photos in my bathroom. More photos will come soon.
