First look at my newly acquired The Little Mermaid Story Book Figurine by Jim Shore. It is beautifully designed and crafted. The figure of Ariel is about 3'' long, or 4 1/2'' if her the full length of her tail is included. The statue of Prince Eric is about 4 1/2'' H. Flounder and Sebastian are about 1'' long. Ariel's face is very nicely done, with a loving expression while looking at Eric's statue. Eric has an appropriately stoic expression, and Flounder and Sebastian are happy for Ariel. I love how Ariel seems to be floating in the water while leaning on the statue. The piece has felt feet, and is very stable on a flat surface.
